Aerobics

The class typically meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10:30 am in  the church Fellowship Hall. It is a low/medium impact class, incorporating body toning as well as weight-bearing aerobic activity.
 
Low/medium impact aerobics excludes extremely strenuous movements and jumping by substituting less vigorous steps and using accompanying arm movements to elevate the heart rate to target levels. 

Blood Pressure Checks

Blood Pressure and Pulse Checks are done the first Sunday of the month from 9:00 – 9:30 am in Room 111 (south end of the building) and from 10:30 – 10:55 in Room 204 (preschool classroom). Know your numbers and how to promote a healthy body, mind, and spirit.

 

Yoga & Chair Yoga

Yoga is offered at AUMC on Mondays at 10:00 am and *7:00 pm. Chair Yoga is offered on Mondays as well from 11:30 – 12:15 pm. The cost for a class is just $5. The class is taught by Jan Dorsey, a  Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor. Everyone (male or female; athletic or out-of-shape; ages 16 to 100) is welcome to attend!
 
*Evening Yoga will not meet during June and July. Resuming August 6th.
